For the first part of the activity, the whole class will need to see both the video and the whiteboard (or another surface on which the teacher is writing).
For the second part of the activity (beginning at Step 12), each student will work with a partner. Students will probably need to sit at tables at this point.
Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.
Use words and phrases acquired through conversations, reading and being read to, and responding to texts.
Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.
