For the first part of the activity, the whole class will need to see both the video and the whiteboard (or another surface on which the teacher is writing).
For the second part of the activity (beginning at Step 10), each student will work with a partner. Students will probably need to sit at tables at this point.
Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.
Produce and expand complete simple and compound declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences in response to prompts.
Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing.
Use end punctuation for sentences.
