For the first part of the activity, the whole class will need to see both the video, and the whiteboard/other surface where the teacher is writing
For the second part of the activity (starting at Step 7), each student will work independently to assemble, draw, and write a sentence. Students will probably need to sit at tables at this point.
Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.
Use frequently occurring prepositions (e.g., during, beyond, toward).
Produce and expand complete simple and compound declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences in response to prompts.
Describe people, places, things, and events with relevant details, expressing ideas and feelings clearly.
With guidance and support from adults, focus on a topic, respond to questions and suggestions from peers, and add details to strengthen writing as needed.
