Lots of stories begin by establishing the character, setting, and what’s happening! Try reading just the first page or paragraph of a storybook. Try to find the character, the setting, and what’s happening in just the beginning. If you have time, you can explore the beginning of lots of books and take notes on what you find on a sticky note or in a journal.
