Step
01/12
Get your supplies.
Step
02/12
In today’s lesson, you’ll need someone to share ideas with. This could
be a partner, or someone you sit near. When everyone knows who
their talk partner is, move on to the next step.
Step
03/12
Write your name and the date on both worksheets.
Step
04/12
Look at your Choose Your Client worksheet. Fill in the circle next to
the client you would like to choose.
Step
05/12
Look at your Treehouse Diagram. Think about which part you want to
add to your design to help your client get into their treehouse. When
you have your idea, fill in the circle next to the part.
Step
06/12
Discuss with a partner: Which part can be added to help YOUR client
get into the treehouse. Why?
Step
07/12
Find number 1. Fill in the part you chose in the box.
Step
08/12
Fill in the rest of the sentence by writing your reason after the
word “because.” Use the diagram to help you explain why you
chose that part.
Step
09/12
Think about the second part you want to choose for your design.
When you have your idea, fill in the circle next to the part.
Step
10/12
Discuss with a partner: What is another part you want to add to your
client’s treehouse design? Why?
Step
11/12
Find number 2. Write a sentence that describes the part you
chose and why.
Step
12/12
It’s time to check your writing! Make sure each sentence starts with
a capital letter and ends with punctuation. Read through your writing
and make changes if you need to.
