We suggest teachers make sure each student has a designated location (such as a folder) to store papers between lessons.
Each worksheet in this unit will be used across multiple lessons. These worksheets are labeled VIPs (Very Important Papers).
Sample Job Notes can be used to support students during this lesson or in future lessons if students were absent.
Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons and information.
Write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences.
