If students need an intro or additional support with understanding the characteristics of the opinion genre, we recommend teaching the Intro to Opinion Writing lesson first.
Recess: Independent worksheet
Students who are ready to work at an independent level will choose indoor or outdoor recess and provide 2 reasons to support their opinion. 		1 per student
Recess: Supported worksheet
Students who could use a little extra support will choose indoor or outdoor recess and use the sentence starters and the word bank to fill in two reasons to support their opinion. 		1 per student
