Get your Story Cover Page. Fill in the blanks with a title for your
story, and your name as the author.

Fold each of your story draft pages in half on the dotted line.

Stack your folded story draft pages in order in a pile with page 1
on the top. Make sure they are in a neat pile with the edges lined up.

Take your folded cover page with the title on the front. Open the fold
and place your stack of folded story draft pages into the cover page.

Make sure all your pages are lined up. Use a stapler to put three
staples on the staple icons. If you’re waiting your turn for a stapler,
you can start drawing a picture on the cover of your book.

Fold the top of your book on the solid line here. Be aware of the
staples while you fold, they can be sharp! Press down to make a
strong crease, then unfold it.

On the back of your book, you can fill in the blanks to complete a
story summary. When you’ve completed your summary, use your
coloring supplies to make a fun cover for your story.
