If students need an intro or additional support, we recommend teaching the Similes lesson first.
Walrus: Independent worksheet
Students who are ready to work at an independent level will use the image and develop similes to describe the creature. Then, they will finish a journal entry, including the similes, to describe the creature. 		30 copies
Walrus: Supported worksheet
Students who could use a little extra support will use the image and develop a simile to finish describing the creature. Then, they will use the similes to finish the sentence stems and complete the journal entry. 		30 copies
Prep Instructions

For each student, print the worksheet best suited to their individual needs (independent or supported).
