DISCUSS:
What questions would you ask to find out more about what happened?
Step
01/11
Get your supplies.
Step
02/11
In today’s lesson, you’ll need someone to share ideas with. This could
be a partner, or someone you sit near. When everyone knows who
their talk partner is, move on to the next step.
Step
03/11
Read the idea that you circled in the last lesson. When you’re done,
give a silent thumbs up.
Step
04/11
Copy your story idea from your Brainstorming worksheet into the
“event” section of your plan.
Step
05/11
Write where your funny memory happened.
Step
06/11
Write who was there in your funny memory.
Step
07/11
Write what was happening right before the event. If you want,
you can add more than one thing.
Step
08/11
Find the event section of your plan. You can add more details to
your funny moment.
Step
09/11
Write what happened right after the funny moment. If you want,
you can write more than one thing.
Step
10/11
Find the “ever since then” section of the plan. Complete the sentence
with what sticks with you from your funny memory.
Step
11/11
Take turns sharing your plan out loud with your partner.
If you want, you can add more details to your plan.
