Teachers: This is a natural stopping point. The next steps will guide students through coloring and assembling their final posters. Students should be finished writing their final drafts before moving on. If students wrote digitally, print their writing before moving on.

Students will need to bring their completed work from the previous lessons to this lesson.
This lesson is separated into two parts and can be taught in two different sessions if needed. A natural stopping point is included after students edit their writing. Students may need additional time to copy onto their final draft pages before assembling their final poster.
Final drafts can be completed by hand or digitally. A digital worksheet is provided if you would like students to type their posters. Students who type their posters will need to print their writing in order to assemble their final poster.
With guidance and support from peers and adults, develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, and editing. (Editing for conventions should demonstrate command of Language standards 1–3 up to and including grade 3.)
